Stay in touch with the UJF easily with the My Journalists Union e-service

The UJF’s new membership register is now up and running. The My Journalist Union e-service makes it easier to update and check your own membership details and to keep in touch with the union. You can access the service here.

"You can now easily update your own details," says UJF service manager Simon Huldén.

The secure service is accessed using strong authentication, either your online banking credentials or mobile certificate.

“If you have changed workplace, home address or other important contact details, you can update the information yourself to ensure it is kept up to date.”

Having up-to-date information ensures that the union can easily get in touch with members regarding various issues relating to membership, benefits and advocacy.

My Journalists Union also offers union members other new services. Self-paying members can calculate and pay their membership fees through the service.

Membership fees can also be paid by Mobilepay or credit card. Future union membership applications will also be processed through the new service. You can also send and receive secure messages with the union through the service.

If needed, the one-to-one service is still available by email or telephone. You can find our contact details here.

The My Journalists Union service is available in Finnish and Swedish.

Here's how to use the My Journalists Union e-service:

Go online to https://oma.journalistiliitto.fi. You can also access the service from the UJF homepage – the link can be found at the top.

Log in with your online banking credentials or mobile certificate.

Once logged in, you can update your membership and contact details, calculate and pay your membership fees, and send messages to the union. If you need assistance with using the service, you can contact the UJF’s membership services.
