Scholarships for the Day of Journalism

This year’s Day of Journalism will be held on Friday, 12 October 2018 at Lasipalatsi in Helsinki Jokes, the fund to promote journalistic culture, will provide travel and accommodation support to enable those travelling from long distances participate in the event. A maximum of 100 Euros per night will be provided for accommodation. Expenditures below 500 Euros will not preclude recipients from applying for other Joke’s scholarships in the future. Deadline for submitting applications is September 7 at 16.00 through the Jokes electronic application system. A binding commitment to be attached to the scholarship application should be printed separately from the application system, signed and posted to the office of the Union by September 17. Remember to submit separate application to the event on time because it will soon be fully booked.
