October 12 is The Day of Journalism

This year the Day of Journalism seminar will be held on October 12, 2018, right in the center of the Finnish capital Helsinki in Lasipalatsi. The day will bring together 400 journalists, providing a unique opportunity to network with, and share experiences among peers working in the field of journalism. The event will consist of presentations and panel discussions by researchers and experienced journalists, on a broad range of topics and issues in journalism. The themes of the seminar will include:
  1. Constructive journalism
  2. The future of online news
  3. Creativity as powerful change agent
  4. Dialogue as a tool in the newsroom
  5. The future of the media business
  6. Whose data who money? Power structures in the media field
All in all it will be a day bubbling with creative and inspiring ideas delivered by the movers and shakers in Finnish media field.
